Ustad Isa is one of the greatest names involved with the creation of Taj Mahal. Ustad Isa is considered to be the chief architect of Taj Mahal who led a team of efficient artisans and sculptors. Ustad Isa is said to be a Persian or Turkish architect whom gave his heart and soul for the creation of Taj Mahal. According to information gathered from various sources, Ustad Isa was selected by Mughal emperor to design and overlook the construction of Taj Mahal and as he was Ustad Isa's decision to use a combination of Mughal, Persian, Italian and typical Muslim art in the architecture of Taj Mahal.
However, there are some contradictions about the fact that Ustad Isa was indeed the chief architect of Taj Mahal. Based on a claim made by Lutfullah Muhandis, it is now asserted that his father, Ustad Ahmad Muhandis was the chief architect of Taj Mahal.
